Description
The McConaghy 50/53 catamaran was drawn by Jason Ker, who was also responsible for the last British BAR Racing entry to the America\'s Cup, and realised by the McConaghy design team led by Mark Evans. The MC50/53 design sails windspeed and etmales at 250sm+. Breathtaking experiences sailing at double digit speeds in supreme comfort, effortlessly and safely are guaranteed. Built using the vacuum infusion process with pre-pack panels of E-glass/epoxy carbon hybrid composite foam, the McConaghy Multihulls are extremely lightweight and rigid, yet luxurious and safe. This rigid all-carbon construction also eliminates the front crossbeam. McConaghy offers Grand Prix style luxury with a host of innovative features including fully opening rear glass salon doors and huge side windows. Even in pouring rain you sail protected. The MC50/53 offers an efficient flybridge where you can sunbathe, dine and control the high-end cat single-handedly from a single control station.
