Description
A rare example of Original James Wharram plan N°213 professionally build by Phil Young and well modified NARAI Mk. IV design. Tiki decks-layout gives 1,50m more width as standard. Very well build in Marine Mahogany ply with GRP/Epoxy reinforcement. In 2002 the German owner couple bought the cat from the builder and up-graded her for a comfortable life at sea, before they sailed this Wharram catamaran during summer seasons on the North- and Baltic Sea. Since 2010 she was always hauled out for the wintertime ashore in Hamburg. The cat is fully-equipped for safe sailing, offers full standing headroom (2,10m) in the hulls with the raised and widened deck-houses. This modernized Wharram-design offers exceptional space below and on deck. The mizzen-masts has been taken away, because the sloop rig performs very well and is easy to handle. Full set of sails in good working order and lots of equipment comes along. A most renowned, safe and sound cruising catamaran immediately available for your viewing and to be handed over with lots of spares and equipment and berth, if requested.
Update: The Wharram Narai received new Yamaha outboard engines in March 2024.
