This OUTREMER 55 Light symbolizes offshore sailing excellence and uncompromising adventure. Built in 2005 at the Outremer shipyard, La Grande Motte, to the designs of architect Gérard Danson, she is the perfect combination of robustness, performance and comfort. Launched in July 2005, she was specially commissioned by experienced sailors with the ambition of circumnavigating the world in pairs. Since then she has been exploring the worlds oceans with unwavering determination. From early cruises in the Mediterranean to transatlantic crossings, from the rough coastlines of South America and the Panama Canal to the paradise of Polynesia, she has broadened her horizons with every seaward step. She has proven her seaworthiness across the oceans with average speeds often in the range of 10 knots, ensuring fast, safe and comfortable crossings even in the most challenging conditions. With her spacious and welcoming interior, she offers great comfort at sea. Her huge cockpit can comfortably seat up to 12 guests for dining at sea or at anchor.
