Construction
The hull is single-skinned GRP construction. Reinforced points (keel, rudder, chain plates, hull-deck joint) help to strengthen the structure.
A structural inner moulding is bonded and laminated to the hull. Its structural role is important as it takes and absorbs the stresses at pressure points (shroud chain-plate tie rods, keel, rudder, etc.), and spreads any loads guaranteeing reduced strain on the hull.
The surface material of the inner moulding makes cleaning easier and provides a better finish.
The stainless steel propeller shaft is mounted and protected in a GRP skeg.
The standard hull colour is white with blue and silver livery. Steel Blue is available as an option.
The deck is sandwich construction (glass fibre and balsa) for an optimal strength/weight ratio and thermal and sound insulation.

These were: larger Yanmar engine YMG30 (27HP), upgrade winch pack to larger winches, Nav pack including chart plotter, Eberspacher heating with additional heating outlets (increase from 3 to 5). In 2012 we moved the boat to Scotland. Additional upgrades when moved to West Coast of Scotland; upgrade of fixed Raymarine VHF, Cockpit waterproof VHF loudspeaker, update of Raymarine Chartplotter (touchscreen) with charts, interfaced with VHF, addition of Raymarine Fishfinder interfaced to Chartplotter, Upgrade of CD/Radio. Three batteries replaced most recently in 2022. Semi flexible solar panel with charging system, keeps batteries charged while on swinging mooring.
The boat has two 12V remote, flat screen television/CD one in the main saloon one in forward cabin. Also a 12v /240V inverter in the chart table area.

We have used the boat for inshore cruising ourselves, never loaned or chartered, never having any collision or run aground. Lightly used and very well maintained.
We kept the boat on Windermere for 5 years, being brought out of the water each winter. In Scotland the boat was initially moored at Craobh YH, moving to Kilmelford YH in 2020. The boat has been lifted out each winter, the engine serviced, bilges cleaned and hull antifouled with International Micron each year. Sails have been serviced by Oban Sails, and any maintenance to Canvas, sprayhood and dodgers undertaken. Anodes (3) replaced each winter.
