Moody 27 Ever popular Bill Dixon design with a fast hull and bilge keels with excellent ballast ratio to make her both stiff and seaworthy,
The Moody 27 has good head room for her size and has a well planned and practical layout with a vast amount of storage space.. There is seating for 6 at the saloon table.
Ceegen has had a resent Raymarine Dragonfly Chartplotter fitted and also new tiller pilot.
Construction
The Moody 27 was introduced in 1981, and was the predecessor of the 1985 Moody 28.
The two designs have many similarities: the main difference being that the 27 has an stern hung rudder.
Bilge keels allowing of drying out in shallow anchorages.
4 years ago a full international Epoxy treatment for osmosis was completed with 4 coats Epoxy applied.
Aluminum toe rails incorporating stanchion bases, fairleads, stainless steel pulpit & pushpit, stainless steel transom boarding ladder.

Forecabin has V-berth with insert. Wardrobe & cupboard storage. Double doors separate forecabin from saloon.
Saloon: Port and starboard berth in saloon
Large hinged table in center of saloon with drinks storage locker in center. Large lockers under all berths and plenty of cave lockers to port/starboard. Good shelving over each saloon berth as well as several storage lockers.
Large quarter berth to starboard.
Heads: Separate heads compartment with marine toilet, basin with manual cold water and wet locker
Navigation area incorporates a neat foldable nav table on portside.
Galley: L shaped galley area with New Dometic gimballed gas cooker with 2 gas burners, grill & separate oven. Stainless steel sink with manual cold water. Large cool box. Galley storage under sink, under cooker, above cooker and work surface.
