The Christophe Barreau TS42-E design offers exceptional performance and seaworthiness. Built by MARSAUDON COMPOSITES, this N°5 features two 15 kW OCEANVOLT electric drives with gen-set backup. Proven on two Atlantic crossings, it is designed for both performance and comfort. The offset helm stations provide good visibility and easy sail tuning. The rig is set back for efficiency, with no spreaders, lower shrouds, and a short, stiff staysail luff. A self-tacking forward sail surface and full 360° sea view, both inside and outside, enhance sailing ease. The open cockpit-salon space is perfect for living aboard, with large bathrooms in each hull and light-filled aft cabins. Textile doors, fins, and performance upgrades make this boat highly competitive. The current German owner has decided to sell, as he only uses her for three weeks of cruising per year. He is open to negotiating blue-water equipment for racing or global cruising.
