Intelligent electronics, navigation and radically simple sail handling are standard, as are creative contemporary, luxury interiors. Carbon fibre infused epoxy, making it a fast, light and extremely good-looking boat. With a cruising speed of 15 knots, this boat has the capability of covering 350 miles per day. This Rapier 550 has been enjoyed by her first owner, an experienced Australian family, who are embracing the nomadic sailing life. They crossed the Atlantic from Cape Verde to Barbados with the ARC+ and were the first catamaran home with young children aboard and the eighth catamaran overall. They have invested heavily in the boat with lots of new equipment including 800Ah of Victron-Lithium, new solar arch bringing the total solar array to 2kW, Watt&Sea generator, Raymarine Axiom plotters, Starlink together with new standing rigging etc. €250k of upgrades and updates. After a splendid Caribbean cruise, she is now back in England. All maintenance work done, safety equipment updated, cleaned and polished to be handed over to her second proud owner now.
