Alan Pape yacht designs have a revered reputation within the traditional offshore yacht market for good reason of dependable sea keeping design. Isobella of Cowes is a steel fabricated double ended 42’ Pilot House Sailing Ketch design that was built around 1992 by Offshore Steel Boats of Barrow-on-Humber (UK) and later fitted out by Clarence Boatyard, Isle of Wight (UK) with final commissioning around 1997. This example demonstrates the virtues that can and has won the hearts of long distance and live aboard cruising owners and appears to have been originally completed to a high standard.
