Summary
“Black Prince formally Stiletto” is a 2010 Beneteau First 35 that is a fast cruiser/racer that offers great sailing performance as well as the luxury comforts of a cruising yacht. She is being offered for sale with an extensive range of North sails and navigation equipment. "Black Prince" has been successfully raced by her current owner on both the East of Scotland..Having the capacity to sleep six in two cabins and the saloon she makes an ideal race boat or fast family cruiser.
Constuction
Built by Beneteau in 2010 in France to a design by Bruce Farr. White GRP hull and decks with moulded in non-slip surfaces. Cast iron T fin keel. Wheel steering to a faired spade rudder.
Aluminium toe rails. Self-draining cockpit. Deep coaming with integral lockers and ventilated gas bottle stowage. The large cockpit with its large wheel steering has a large stowage locker and gas locker.
All lines are led aft to the cockpit.
Mechanicals
Engine
Located under companionway is a Yanmar 3YM30 SD, 3-cylinder 29HP inboard diesel engine.
Single lever controls with electric start.
Saildrive to a folding 2 blade propeller.
The engine has been regularly serviced, last service by all her owners
Will cruise at 6.5 knots and has a maximum speed of 7 knots
Electrical Systems
3 x 12 Volt batteries all new 2016 (2 x domestic and 1 x engine) charged via engine alternator,
240-volt shorepower system with ring mains, battery charger and full cabin lighting.
Wtater System
Hot and cold pressurized water supply with water heating from teh engine and 240V immersion heater.
Tankage
75 Litre plastic fuel tank.

Accommodation
The Beneteau First 35 offers 6 berths in two cabins and the saloon. The forward cabin, with its wide double opening doors, makes the saloon feel very light and airy. They also provide easy access to the forward cabin which has a double berth with storage beneath, long thin portholes, hanging lockers and storage shelves either side and a deck escape hatch.
Aft of the forward cabin is the saloon which has a central saloon table with drops leaves which means that six people can sit around the table in comfort. It also provides easy access either side of the table to the forward cabin. There is lots of under seat storage and also additional storage behind the saloon cushions. There are grabrails the full length of the saloon which makes moving around in rough seas very easy.
Aft of the saloon and to starboard is the L shaped navigation station with a large chart table, instrument panel and storage for books and guides. There is an array of instruments and a
screen that can be linked to a laptop computer.
Opposite the navigation station to port is the galley which consists a two burner gas cooker with oven, 12V fridge, stainless steel sink with hot and cold water supply from engine and 240V immersion heater. Ample storage.
Aft of the navigation station is a separate heads compartment with marine toilet with holding tank, wash basin and shower.
Aft of the galley is a large double berth with hanging locker and storage beneath and port hole.
The saloon and cabins are all very light and airy with light cream upholstery. The yacht also benefits from diesel cabin heating throughout.
