Constuction
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409 features a hand-laid solid fiberglass hull with a protective barrier coat and ISO gelcoat. The deck is constructed using the Prisma process, an injection molding technique, with a balsa core. The boat also incorporates a 3rd generation fiberglass inner grid for added strength.
