For sale is the iconic 55´ Daysailer TOMTIT built in 2000 in full carbon
Rare opportunity to buy a piece of yachting history! TOMTIT is one of the very first large  scale  daysailers  ever  built  for  visionary  yacht  collector  Jack  Setton  back  in 2000 to a design of German Frers. TOMTIT is built with state of the art techniques in prepreg Carbon fiber with Nomex Core at Compositeworks in La Ciotat, France. TOMTIT boasts a hydraulic lifting keel to lower her 5.000 kg lead bulb to  4,50 m draft. Remarkable is the very high ballast ratio of 55% and a very light displacement of only approx. 9.000 kg! Sails are adjusted by a Cariboni magic trim system for main and jib. The boat is in hibernation for some years and needs some investment to check on the various systems and for little upgrades. A new set of sails should be considered. The Teak deck is in very good condition.   
An inspection ashore is possible in Olbia, Sardinia after appointment.
