The Outremer 5X is a high-performance bluewater catamaran, designed by the renowned VPLP team and awarded European Yacht of the Year 2012. Known for her excellent sailing characteristics and ease of handling by a short-handed crew, she is a true masterpiece of French boatbuilding. Hull N°18 is a meticulously maintained 3-cabin owner’s version, delivered in 2017 to her first and only German owners. The port hull is dedicated entirely to the owner's suite. Her carbon options include mast, davits, bimini, and forward beam. Her sails include Hydranet main and genoa, a 2023 Code D gennaker and Code Zero, and a symmetric spinnaker. Seven layers of Coppercoat, applied in 2023, protect her underwater hulls. She offers exceptional autonomy with 880Ah batteries, solar panels (4x200W + 2x300W), a Watt&Sea hydrogenerator, and a Dessalator Duo watermaker.
