The Outremer 45 Danson design is a classic performance bluewater catamaran by Gérard Danson, combining light displacement, seaworthiness, and the ability to safely carry a family around the world. Agile in light winds and reassuring in stronger conditions, she is well suited to both ocean passages and coastal cruising. Built in 2003 and launched in 2004, this yacht has been in the same ownership since 2007. She has been carefully sailed seasonally, never pushed beyond her limits, and regularly maintained, with periods stored ashore. Her rig, sails, and onboard systems are therefore in good condition and ready for continued use, with coppercoat further reducing maintenance needs. Her deck layout supports practical offshore cruising, with a full cockpit enclosure and shade system for added comfort, plus shaded areas over the trampolines and a securely stowed kayak for use at anchor. The sail plan is well balanced and easy to handle, supported by robust winches and deck gear, while navigation and onboard systems are arranged for clear, simple operation offshore. Overall, this Outremer 45 is a well-kept, capable bluewater catamaran, offering an excellent balance of performance, comfort, and safety.
