The Westerly Oceanranger is a very well regarded centre cockpit cruising yacht. Designed by Ed Dubois as a serious long-distance cruiser, with good performance, as well as excellent accommodation, with master aft cabin, guest fore cabin  and sea berth along the companion way to the aft cabin. For a 38ft yacht, these boats are surprisingly spacious. Recent improvements include NEW SPRAYHOOD & MAINSAIL COVER- Nov 2023, NEW BATTERIES 2022/23, NEW COASTO DINGHY,  NEW SALOON UPHOLSTERY, NEW WIND GENERATOR needs installing. Ideal for short handed sailing and long distance exploration, this boat is conveniently situated in Grenada in the southern Caribbean.

Accommodations
6-7 berths in 2 cabins  plus saloon with ventilation and headroom throughout. Forward cabin with v berth and infill to form a double, hanging locker and stowage to starboard and access to chain locker. Heads to port with a Jabsco marine toilet and washbasin, hanging locker opposite to starboard. Spacious saloon consisting of a large wrap-a-round dinette to port, central folding leaf table and settee berth opposite, along with lots of easily accessed stowage in shelves and lockers. Galley to starboard comprising of a Plastimo two burner cooker with oven, 12v fridge with small ice box, twin stainless steel sinks with fresh and sea water tap and plenty of stowage. To port lies the chart table, quarter berth and passageway to aft cabin. Owners aft cabin with offset double berth, seating area, hanging locker, further storage and ensuite heads cabin offering marine toilet and washbasin.

Mechanical Systems
Located in engine space under the cockpit, Volvo Penta three cylinder 28hp diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger.  Two bladed propeller. Single lever control. Serviced every 150 hrs.

Spars and Sails
Masthead rigged sloop. Aluminium mast and boom.  Stainless steel standing rigging replaced when needed between 7-11 years.  Furling headsail. Hank on Yankee jib. Slab reefing mainsail with lazy jacks and stack pack.  Lines led aft to cockpit.  2 x Harken 40 self tailing winches. 2 x Harken 35 self tailing winches. 1 x Barrient winch.  Spinnaker pole.   1 x Mainsail - Dacron - White - Approx. 10 years - Fair to good condition 1 x Genoa - White - Approx. 8 years - Fair to good condition 1 x Yankee jib - Hank on - Lightly used - Good condition 1 x Spinnaker - Lightly used.

Built in 1989 By Westerly Yachts to a design by Ed Dubois.  White GRP hull with dark blue sheer stripe. Centre self draining cockpit.  Fin keel Spade hung rudder.  Wheel steering.
