The Catalina 400 was the first twin helm station boat built in the USA and emulates the success of European production boats with its twin helms and wide stern. Its spacious cockpit and voluminous interior offers more than generous accommodation while underway and at anchor. Above deck you can comfortably walk between the twin helms and folding table to all the control lines in the cockpit. It is easy to walk along the decks to the large chain locker and electric windlass. This is a two-cabin, two-head layout with an expansive salon and a centerline queen berth aft, providing exceptional liveaboard comfort. Large opening hatches and generous beam create a bright, airy interior, while ample storage ensures extended cruising capability. She comes is well equipped including watermaker and small washing machine

Accommodation
The layout offers up to 6 berths in 2 cabins and the saloon. There is full standing headroom and good ventilation throughout. The forward cabin has a standard double V-berth with hanging locker vanity seat to port and ensuite heads to starboard. The large U-shaped dinette lies to starboard in the saloon. The dining table that can comfortably seat six, converts into double bunk and there is good locker stowage outboard of the settees. A full length settee runs along the portside. The galley and companionway area have a real non-skid sole instead of the teak and holly in the saloon and sleeping cabins. The galley has a good sized fridge and separate freezer (Freezer needs repair), a ice machine, a Princess gimballed 3 burner stove with oven, deep stainless double sinks with hot and cold pressurized water, there is plenty of storage and clever glass racks above the sinks. To port lie the chart table with hinged seat and electrical panel, and heads just beyond with full-size shower cubicle and wash basin which can can be accessed from either the saloon or the aft cabin. The large aft cabin has a centre line queen berth, storage outboard with hang locker space and a mirror and vanity table. *Saloon upholstery needs replacing.
