Sunbird International Yacht Sales in St Malo are delighted to offer this beautiful classic. Lovingly maintained and updated. New wheelhouse and engines 2001. New aft cockpit 2016. Simply lovely inside and out and must be seen! Chickadee will be ashore from 5-9 June for annual maintenance.

Très beau bateau classique sorti du fameux chantier Rampart en 1955. Entretenu avec soin, il bénéfice d'une nouvelle timonerie et nouveaux moteurs en 2001, et un nouveau cockpit à l'arrière de 2016. A voir absolument.

2 x Perkins M130 marine diesel engines, fitted 2001, driving in line shafts to 4 blade bronze propellers.

220v shore power system with Victron battery charger and sockets. 24v batteries and electrical system. 2 solar panels. Hot water from 220v or engine calorifier.

Raymarine Tridata, recent VHF radio, Garmin 2010C GPS/plotter.

On deck, electric windlass 2020 with 100m of chain and anchor with davit. Traditional wooden tender. Avon dinghy with outboard. Mast with steadying sail and sail cover. Boom can be used to launch tender. Searchlight, horn, windscreen wipers.

Layout from aft :
In 2016 Dennetts of Laleham Reach fitted out an aft cockpit replacing part of the after deck.
Double doors open into aft saloon, which has L shaped settee to stbd and straight settee to port with drop leaf teak table. Coverts to double and single berths. Newport Dickinson diesel fired stove heater.
Fwd to galley with Taylors gas cooker and double s/s sink to stbd and top loading fridge beneath worktop to port.
Up to wheelhouse, completely reguilt to superb standard in 2001, with corner seats aft, moveable seat and chart drawers to stbd and sliding access to sidedeck to port. Wheel, engine controls and instruments port side fwd.
Down to stateroom, with separate wc compartment to stbd fitted with Blakes toilet, and separate wash basin and shower compartment to port. Stateroom has widened double berth to port and single berth to stbd.
Fwd to crew cabin with V berth layout.

Mahogany on oak hull with teak laid decks over marine ply.

In her current ownership since 2011, she has cruised extensively in her life, served as Committee Boat for regattas, attended Classic Boat Festivals and been enjoyed and admired by all. Fastidiously maintained.

2 moteurs diesel marins Perkins M130, installés en 2001, entraînant des arbres en ligne à des hélices bronze à 4 pales.

Système d’alimentation à quai 220V avec chargeur de batterie Victron et prises. Batteries et système électrique 24v. 2 panneaux solaires. Eau chaude par 220v ou moteur.

Raymarine Tridata, radio VHF récente, GPS Garmin 2010C / traceur.

Sur le pont, guindeau électrique 2020 avec 100m de chaîne et ancre avec bossoir. Annexe traditionelle en bois. Annexe Avon avec hors-bord. Mât avec voile stabilisatrice et sa taud. Bôme peut être utilisé pour mettre l’annexe à l’eau. Projecteur, klaxon, essuies glaces.

Disposition à partir de l’arrière : En 2016, Dennetts de Laleham Reach a aménagé un cockpit arrière remplaçant une partie du pont arrière.
Les doubles portes s’ouvrent sur le salon arrière, qui a un canapé en forme de L à tribord et un canapé droit à bâbord avec une table en teck abattante. Convertit en couchettes doubles et simples. Chauffage cheminée diesel Newport Dickinson.
Cuisine avec réchaud à gaz Taylors et évier double inox à tribord et réfrigérateur à chargement par le haut sous le plan de travail à bâbord.
On monte dans la timonerie, complètement reconstruit à un superbe standard en 2001, avec des sièges d’angle à l’arrière, un siège mobile et des tiroirs à cartes à tribord et un accès coulissant au pont latéral à bâbord. Barre à roue, commandes moteur et instruments côté bâbord.
On descend vers la cabine armateur, avec compartiment WC séparé à tribord équipé de toilettes Blakes, et lavabo et compartiment douche à bâbord. Couchette double à bâbord élargie et couchette simple à tribord.

Construction en acajou sur chêne, avec pont en teck massif.

Dans sa propriété actuelle depuis 2011, Chickadee a beaucoup navigué dans sa vie, a servi de bateau de comité pour les régates, a assisté à des festivals de bateaux classiques et a été apprécié et admiré par tous. Entretien méticuleux.
