The Christophe Barreau TS42-E delivers outstanding performance and seaworthiness. Built by MARSAUDON COMPOSITES, hull No. 5 features twin 15 kW OCEANVOLT electric motors with a backup generator. Proven on two Atlantic crossings, it’s designed for both speed and comfort.
Offset helm stations provide excellent visibility and easy sail handling. The aft-set rig, with no spreaders and a short, stiff forestay, ensures high efficiency. A self-tacking headsail and full 360° sea views enhance ease of sailing, while the open cockpit-salon layout is ideal for onboard living. Each hull offers a spacious bathroom and bright aft cabins.
Performance upgraded including textile rigging, fins, high-performance sails, an NKE regatta navigation system, and a carbon mast make this catamaran highly competitive, comparable to top models like the Outremer 4X.
The current German owner is selling due to limited use (about three weeks per year) and is open to negotiating equipment for bluewater cruising or racing.
