Construction
Hull Construction
The hull is formed as a single-piece GRP moulding, providing excellent strength, rigidity, and long-term durability. Internal structural members are GRP-formed and fully laminated, contributing to the vessel’s robust monocoque construction. Plywood bulkheads are securely glassed directly to the hull, adding further stiffness and structural integrity. A moulded rubbing strake runs the length of the hull and is finished with durable bronze capping, offering both practical protection and a classic aesthetic.
The underwater sections have recently been epoxy treated for osmosis.
Deck & Superstructure
The deck and superstructure are GRP moulded, ensuring a strong, watertight structure with minimal maintenance requirements. The flybridge is also moulded in GRP, seamlessly integrated into the overall design. All exterior deck areas are overlaid with Flexi-Teak synthetic teak decking, combining the traditional appearance of teak with improved grip, longevity, and reduced maintenance.
Keel & Rudder
The vessel features a moulded GRP skeg keel formed as an integral part of the hull, offering protection to the running gear and enhancing directional stability. Steering is via twin bronze rudders, providing reliable handling characteristics and excellent manoeuvrability under power.
