This Catana 47 Carbon N°44, a renowned performance design by Christophe Barreau, combines outstanding sailing performance, exceptional structural rigidity, true single-handed capability, and impressive onboard comfort. She has successfully completed two full Atlantic Circles and returned safely to the Mediterranean in 2025 with her owner. Perfectly equipped for safe and autonomous long-distance cruising, the yacht has never been chartered and has only been privately sailed by her current and previous owners. Independence from shore power is ensured by a watermaker, solar panels, and a modern lithium battery bank.
For maximum safety and redundancy, Aquila features two fully independent autopilot systems, Starlink satellite internet, and an Iridium GO! system for reliable global communications.
All equipment, excluding personal belongings, remains on board, including the complete ARC-required safety equipment. The galley is fully equipped, and an extensive inventory of spare parts is included.The engines and sail drives were completely overhauled in December 2025. Presented in mint condition, Aquila is ready for her next blue-water adventure. Currently stored ashore near Marseilles, France, and available for viewings by appointment.
